Pigot leads opening Lights practice

With a lap speed of 111.812 miles per hour, Juncos Racing's Spencer Pigot led this morning's Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires opening practice at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Schmidt Peterson Motorsports' R.C. Enerson was second, 0.5572s behind Pigot with teammate and championship leader Jack Harvey third. Milwaukee winner Felix Serralles was fourth with Iowa winner Max Chilton rounding out the top-five.
The Indy Lights series will return to the track for second practice at 1 p.m. this afternoon.
