Noon update from Fontana
There has been a change to pit entry for this weekend. The reason for this change is that at Texas Motor Speedway several cars went too fast on pit in off Turn 3 and crossed the apron back onto the racetrack. So this weekend pit entry will be off Turn 4. There is a dashed white line and cones at pit in to indicate where the drivers can emerge from the track onto pit lane.
Another change for this weekend is the drivers must keep all four wheels above the white line all the way around the track at all times. They do not want drivers shortcutting the turns and making a dangerous situation as the apron to track transition is not smooth in all places. This will make it easier for officiating.
