Eidson leads opening USF2000 practice

Cooper Tires U.S. F2000 Powered by Mazda championship leader Jake Eidson led opening practice this morning at NOLA Motorsports Park. The Pabst Racing, who swept the opening two rounds at St. Petersburg driver was two-tenths quicker than Brazilian Victor Franzoni with Jordan Lloyd of John Cummiskey Racing. Nico Jamin and Aaron Telitz of Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing rounded out the top-five.

Practice 2 for the U.S. F2000 series gets underway at 2 p.m. Central Time this afternoon.
