Formula E makes its U.S. debut Saturday with a street race in downtown Miami, and series CEO Alejandro Agag appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Alley" to promote the event.
Agag: "Our races are totally unpredictable and we are really at the beginning of this kind of racing. Racing electric is completely new." He noted the race is "completely sold out," and "we’re looking at places to put more people because the excitement in the city is great. But we focus on the younger generation."
Agag added there has been "demand from investors" and noted Formula E's new “major partnership" with Liberty Global and Discovery Communications. “Squawk Alley," CNBC
