E&K Companies joins Jonathan Byrd’s Racing

Doug Stegemoller, President of E&K of Phoenix, talked about joining the Byrd team and growing the E&K relationship with Bryan Clauson, saying "E&K of Phoenix has supported Bryan Clauson and the entire Bryan Clauson Inc team for years on the bull rings of America. The opportunity to continue that support for Bryan by joining with the Jonathan Byrd's team in their pursuit of the Borg Warner Trophy at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an honor."

For their interior and exterior services, E&K provides interior drywall systems, lath & plastering systems, insulation systems, fabric wall systems, rough & finish carpentry, and painting. For ceilings, E&K provides acoustical, metal, wood, stretch systems, and security ceilings. Additionally, E&K does specialty work in acoustical plaster, fireproofing, spray foam insulation, rain screen systems, glass fiber reinforced gypsum, and glass fiber reinforced concrete.
Jonathan Byrd's Racing was founded by the late Jonathan Byrd in 1982. In its various forms, Jonathan Byrd's Racing has successfully fielded 17 entries in the Indianapolis 500 beginning in 1985, scoring 6 top ten finishes, with a best finish of 5th in 2005. A Jonathan Byrd's Racing car currently holds the all-time Indianapolis 500 1 and 4 lap qualifying records (Luyendyk '96). Jonathan Byrd's Racing has won 2 IndyCar races (Luyendyk – Phoenix '96, Paul Jr – Texas '98), along with 2 United States Auto Club National Midget Championships ('86,'87).
