Schedule Announced For Inaugural Indy Grand Prix Of Louisiana

Organizers of the inaugural 2015 Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana announced today the schedule of on-track action. The three-day weekend will feature 11 different races, showcasing the Verizon IndyCar Series, Pro Mazda presented by Cooper Tires, Cooper Tires USF2000 powered by Mazda, Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama and the Mazda MX-5 Cup Presented by BF-Goodrich Tires.

Saturday action kicks off with four support series qualifying sessions, Verizon IndyCar Series practice and qualifying; ultimately ending the day with four support series races. Race fans will enjoy seeing the big names of the Verizon IndyCar Series, scheduled to include celebrated drivers such as defending series champion, Will Power; Dancing with the Stars winner and 3-time Indianapolis 500 champion, Helio Castroneves and defending Indianapolis 500 winner, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Sebastien Bourdais, James Hinchcliffe, Marco Andretti and Juan Pablo Montoya.

The 2015 Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana will show continuous racing action as drivers take to on the 2.74 mile, 13-Turn circuit each day to prepare for the main event on Sunday, April 12.

Single-day tickets are now on sale for race fans and prices range from $15 (Child) to $80 (Adult). The Friday schedule is filled with multiple practice sessions for each series.
