Mercedes provides sneak peak at 2015 F1 car

Mercedes has provided a glimpse of its new Formula 1 challenger, the F1 W06 Hybrid, after shaking it down at Silverstone on Thursday.

The World Champion carried out initial systems checks ahead of the opening pre-season test at Jerez, which runs from February 1-4.

Although the car is not due to be officially launched until Sunday morning, a selection of teaser videos were gradually posted on the outfit's Twitter feed.

Both World Champion Lewis Hamilton and team-mate Nico Rosberg took turns at the wheel.

The limited views show a modified nose design, with a shorter tip, and refinements to the sidepod, engine cover and rear-end packaging.

Rosberg is scheduled to complete the first and third days of testing at Jerez, with Hamilton in action on the second and fourth days.
