Team Moore receives first new Indy Lights car

Team Moore Racing today received the first of its two Dallara IL-15 chassis for the upcoming 2015 Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires. The news over the Christmas and New Year's Holiday was welcome to the entire race team.

Mark Moore of Team Moore Racing said, "What better way to celebrate New Year than the arrival of the team's first Dallara IL-15. I honestly think it is the most beautiful formula car in the world right now! The design team from Dallara and project managers like Tony Cotman and Alex Timmermans did a fantastic job. Well done!"

TMR is also very happy to announce the return of race winning Indy Lights race engineers, Mike Colliver and Don Bricker, for the 2015 season. "Both Mike and Don have worked for the team for several seasons and have an excellent working relationship. With the increased number of cars and new teams competing in the 2015 season, experienced race engineers in our Indy Lights series has never been more important. I know TMR will have one of the best engineering pairings in the paddock. Add that to a new chassis like the all new Dallara IL-15, with 450 HP and another 50 HP push to pass from the Mazda turbo engine, you are talking about a serious race car," said Moore.

"I can't say how excited I am for the series right now. We currently have a product that our young drivers can excel with to the next level in INDYCAR. The Verizon IndyCar Series is not a pipe dream for drivers in Indy Lights; 19 of the last 33 drivers on the 2014 Indianapolis 500 grid have raced Indy Lights," continued Moore.

"We race for prize money and the Champion's prize is three IndyCar races and one of them includes the Indy 500. Can you imagine winning a European Championship and getting three F1 races and one of them including Monaco?" concluded Moore.

We will have some exciting news about our 2015 driver line up soon. Interest has never been higher in the series and many other top seats have already been filled in the series. We look forward to announcing our two contenders for the 2015 Indy Lights Championship.

The 2015 season kicks off in St. Petersburg on March 28.
