Discount offer for Bahrain F1 tickets begin

BAHRAIN International Circuit (BIC) yesterday kicked off its early bird discount offer for tickets for the 2015 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Tickets can now be purchased at 20 per cent discount.

The Formula One extravaganza is scheduled to take place from April 17 to 19 next year at 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East'� in Sakhir. It will be the fourth round of the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship.

The fantastic offer on all ticket prices is available for a one-month period only, starting from today to January 14 next year.

'Following the massive success of our very first night race last April, the anticipation for our next Grand Prix has never been so high at this time of the year,'� said BIC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa.

'The 2014 Formula One season recently ended and BIC's Early Bird Discount is our response to race fans who are already asking ahead about our Grand Prix weekend coming in April of 2015.

'We also wanted to give Formula One enthusiasts from around the world a head-start to begin making their plans around next year's Bahrain Grand Prix. It's the perfect time of year to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the big race gives tourists twice the reason to make the trip and have a spectacular time at the circuit.'�

Tickets can be bought online at BIC's official website, bahraingp.com, on BIC's official Facebook page, or by calling the BIC Hotline at +973-17-450000. They are also being sold at the BIC sales outlet at Bahrain City Centre.'�

The Early Bird discount is valid only for BIC's Main Grandstand and Turn One Grandstand.

Main Grandstand tickets cost BD120 instead of BD150 while a Turn One Grandstand tickets cost BD80 instead of BD100.

The Bahrain Grand Prix offers not only the best of Formula One racing, but also an unparalleled experience off the track that includes a wide variety of family entertainment and fun activities for all, plus a series of live musical performances by some of the world's biggest stars.

Apart from the Main Grandstand and Turn One Grandstand, the BIC Early Bird Discount is also available for Batelco Grandstand, University Grandstands and Victory Grandstands at 10 per cent off.

Tickets to Batelco Grandstand cost BD108 instead of BD120 while tickets to University Grandstands and Victory Grandstands cost BD54 each from BD60 after discounts.
