Grandson of NASCAR team owner Felix Sabates killed in accidental shooting

An 18-year-old grandson of Chip Ganassi Racing co-owner Felix Sabates was killed Saturday night in an accidental shooting.

According to The Palm Beach Post, Feliciano Sabates was shot by a 17-year-old when he waved a 9mm gun that the group of juveniles and adults had been passing around the group during a party.

Sabates, known as 'Chany' to his friends, died at the scene in the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, apartment. The 17-year-old was charged with manslaughter by culpable negligence. Sporting News
