Reising Radio Partners Gets In The Race With Jonathan Byrd’s Racing

Jonathan Byrd's Racing, which previously announced its plan to return to the Indianapolis 500 in 2015 with USAC Champion Bryan Clauson as their driver, doing so in partnership with 2013 Indianapolis 500 champions KVSH Racing, is excited to announce a new sponsorship agreement with Reising Radio Partners.

Reising Radio Partners, with offices and studios in both Franklin and Columbus, Indiana, an affiliate of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network and now the official and exclusive music radio partner of Jonathan Byrd’s Racing, is a radio broadcast company that serves the counties of south Central Indiana. The Reising Radio Partners line-up consists of three music radio stations: QMIX 107.3 (www.qmix.com), which plays new music and familiar favorites; MOJO 102.9 (www.mojo1029.com), with the hits of the 60's, 70's, and 80's; and KORN Country 100.3 (www.korncountry.com), which is central Indiana’s home of “20 in a row" country music.

Speaking to the new sponsor partnership, Ginny Byrd said: "We're so happy to have the Reising Radio group come on board with us. There is so much going on in this new era of Jonathan Byrd’s and Jonathan Byrd’s Racing, and the Reising stations are going to be fantastic partners to help us spread the word about all of the things that we’re doing and that we will be doing in the months and years ahead. I do have to say that MOJO has quickly become my favorite music station, and we're looking forward to having a lot of fun with this relationship."

Jonathan Byrd's Racing driver Bryan Clauson joined Ginny Byrd in her sentiments, adding "It's exciting to have Reising Radio Partners on board with us, and it’s awesome to be able to bring a new sponsor into the sport. I do have to say, with all due respect to QMix and MOJO, as a country music fan it’s going to be pretty cool carrying that KORN Country 100.3 logo on the IndyCar next May. Having them along for the ride is important for us on a lot of levels. They're going to be a great partner in our efforts, and we’re going to be able to do a lot of fun things with their stations over the next couple of years. We’ll definitely be doing everything we can to put in a good run for them."

Talking about what this new venture into Indy 500 sponsorship in partnership with the Jonathan Byrd's team means to Reising Radio Partners, Founder and President Keith Rising offered his thoughts, saying "We're really pleased to be invited to join the Byrd family racing team. For as long as I can remember, the Indy 500 meant listening to it on the radio. Our family had our radios tuned in to the race in the yard for the cookout, and in every room of the house. It's especially meaningful to sponsor a fellow Hoosier, Bryan Clauson, who has a long list of championships. This is the pinnacle in racing. To me, there is nothing more professional, nothing better organized and nothing more prestigious in motorsports. This is going to be our family's best Indianapolis 500 ever. Of course, the race can be heard on our station, KORN Country 100.3 FM."
