KV Racing sues backer of Simona de Silvestro

According to these court documents, IndyCar team KV Racing has quietly filed a lawsuit against Racing 78 GMGH, the backers of their former driver, Simona de Silvestro, who has since moved on to F1 where she hopes to make her F1 racing debut in 2015.

Kevin Kalkhoven told AR1.com that he "could not comment on the lawsuit other than to say the lawsuit is for non-performance of their contract with KV Racing." When we get access to the full lawsuit we will post an update, but we suspect it is because the contract was terminated early so they could move Simona to F1 and there were certain guarantees for sponsorship to the team that they did not deliver.
