Kyle Busch cruises in Kentucky

Kyle Busch won the UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway as he eyes a sweep of the tripleheader at the 1.5-mile track.

Busch led 91 laps en route to his fifth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory in as many starts this season. Going back to the end of the 2013 season, he has won a series record six consecutive starts.

The win is Busch's second in the Truck Series in Kentucky and the 40th of his career in the 120 Truck Series starts.

A restart with eight laps to go gave the field another shot at Busch and the driver of the No. 51 Dollar General Toyota had to hold off his Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate, Darrell Wallace Jr. for the win.

Busch's truck was too low in the front on post-race inspection and NASCAR will address this further next week at the R&D Center.

Wallace Jr. followed up his victory at Gateway with a strong performance. He led 34 laps and scored a runner-up finish
Ryan Blaney, who was second to Busch in Thursday's lone Nationwide Series practice, finished third in the race. This was his third top-five finish in the past four races, which have all resulted in at least top-10 finishes.

Timothy Peters came in fourth, while Brad Keselowski finished fifth. Keselowski led 22 laps in his bid to win his first Truck Series race, but a penalty on pit road for leaving the pit box with a wrench in the back of his truck seemed to derail those hopes. He rebounded for a fifth-place finish.

The points battle continues to remain tight with Johnny Sauter, who finished ninth, holding an eight-point advantage over ThorSport teammate and defending series champion Matt Crafton, who finished sixth. The top five drivers are separated by 13 points.

The Truck Series will return to action on July 11 at Iowa Speedway in the American Ethanol 200.
