Thursday update from Le Mans

Lucas di Grassi in the #1 Audi

The #1 Audi had another crash today during qualifying at Le Mans. This time, Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi lost control at the Indianapolis corner and struck a barrier. While di Grassi was able to continue, the LMP2 Pegasus Morgan driven by Leo Roussel was forced to take evasive action at speed. The Frenchman made contact with the barrier, and the session was red-flagged.

Di Grassi has reportedly been summoned by the stewards to explain his version of the events.

James Calado, who drives the #71 AF Course Ferrari, had an accident today during qualifying at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The accident brought out a red flag, but as of yet, we have no other information regarding Calado, and we will pass along news as we receive it.
