Monaco Practice 3: Hamilton nips Ricciardo

When the Super Soft tires went on the times came tumbling down. First Daniel Ricciardo went fastest getting down into the 1m16s bracket, but that did not last long as Lewis Hamilton then put the Mercedes on top by five hundreds of a second.

Nico Rosberg ended up third quick, the only other driver to get down into the 1m16s bracket. Sebastian Vettel had been ahead of Ricciardo on the soft tires but when he put on the Super Softs he hit traffic on the tight street circuit so we do not know if he could have beat Hamilton or not. He was 4th overall.

Fernando Alonso rounded out the top-5 for Ferrari ahead of his teammate Kimi Raikkonen who was 6th.
