Target CEO Resigns

We have no idea what, if any, implications this will have on the racing world. However, according to the Associated Press, Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel has resigned in the wake of the recent Target data breach. The retail giant, of course, sponsors cars in the Verizon IndyCar Series for Target Chip Ganassi Racing, and Sprint Cup for Kyle Larson. Target also serves as an associate sponsor for Ganassi's Sports Car teams.

Steinhafel had been with Target since 1979, and had served in his current position since 1999.
