No IndyCar ride, so Daly is testing GP2

American Conor Daly flew to Abu Dhabi on Sunday night to take part in the three day official GP2 series test at Yas Marina Circuit, March 11-13. Daly will drive for the Venezuela GP Lazarus team joining recent signing, Nathanael Berthon. "It was a bit of a late call up but I am thrilled to be doing the test," commented Daly. "I know the circuit well and after a long cold winter in Indianapolis, I can't wait to get to work."

The GP2 series will conduct two, three day tests prior to the start of the season's opening race in Bahrain, April 4th -6th. The next series test session will be held in Bahrain, March 19th-21st.
