Dixon to race in 12 Hours of Sebring

Scott Dixon's season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona didn't go as planned — the No. 02 Ford Ecoboost Riley finished 28 laps off the pace in 15th, but it appears Dixon will get another chance at the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.

The reigning IndyCar Series champion said he will test Chip Ganassi Racing's prototype Friday at Sebring (Fla.) International Raceway in preparation for next month's annual 62nd-annual 12 Hours of Sebring event.

“I think that's probably going to happen," Dixon said of the ride. “I hope so."
