Drag Racing’s Biggest Event, NASCAR Doubleheader at Atlanta

ESPN2 Airing 11 Hours of NHRA U.S. Nationals Coverage
The biggest event of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season will have 11 hours of coverage on ESPN2 this weekend with the running of the 59th annual Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis. Expanded qualifying and eliminations telecasts will culminate with six consecutive hours on Labor Day Monday, the final day of competition. In addition, ESPN3, ESPN’s multi-screen live sports network, will air live coverage of Friday qualifying as well as the full day of eliminations on Monday. All NHRA programming on is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app. The schedule:

NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series in Prime Time at Atlanta
The NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series will race under the lights at the 1.522-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend with both races airing in prime time. ESPN will have a live telecast of the 500-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday night, Sept. 1. NASCAR Countdown airs at 7 p.m. ET with the race’s green flag at 7:46 p.m. The race telecast is presented by Pennzoil. The NASCAR Nationwide Series races on ESPN2 on Saturday night, Aug. 31, with Countdown at 7 p.m. and the green at 7:47 p.m. All NASCAR programming on ESPN and ESPN2 is also available on computers, smartphones and tablets through WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app.

American Le Mans Series at Baltimore on ABC
The American Le Mans Series races on the Baltimore street circuit this weekend and ABC will have a one-day delayed telecast on Sunday, Sept. 1, at noon ET. ESPN3 will air the race live on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 3:30 p.m. as well as qualifying on Friday, Aug. 30, at 4:20 p.m. ESPN3 is accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and streamed on televisions through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members and Apple TV.
