Saturday IndyCar Qualifying Update

The first session of IndyCar's Saturday qualifying has just finished with the second group just now taking to the track. Continuing what has been by far the best weekend of his IndyCar career, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing's James Jakes set fast time. If no one in the second group betters Jakes' time, it will be the first career pole for the young Englishman.

Following Jakes were Ryan Hunter-Reay, Simon Pagenaud, Justin Wilson, James Hinchcliffe, A.J. Allmendinger, Marco Andretti, Dario Franchitti, Tristan Vautier, Charlie Kimball, Sebastian Bourdais, Josef Newgarden, and Alex Tagliani.
