Some hiccups on Day 1 at Austin

While most race fans have been effusive in their praise of Circuit of the Americas on the first day of U.S. Grand Prix practice, the event has not gone off completely without a hitch.

Several merchandise and food vendors across the circuit have been unable to accept credit cards, and some food vendors have even run out of food.

As of 2:30 p.m., circuit officials had not returned calls or emails for comment.
