Mouser’s IndyCar Success Is a True Team Effort

We knew we needed a team of dedicated co-sponsors in order to make our IndyCar sponsorship successful. Each sponsor was pivotal in the program’s accomplishments. That list of co-sponsors for the No. 11 Mouser Electronics/KV Racing Technology IndyCar in the 2012 Izod IndyCar Series includes Amphenol, BIVAR, ebm-papst, Fluke, Hammond, Harwin, KEMET, Littelfuse, Molex, Murata, Ohmite, Omron, Panasonic, Phoenix Contact, Sager, TE Connectivity, and TTI.

This year, supplier co-sponsors were invited to join us, along with KV Racing Technology, to participate in a unique campaign around the country. Our guests were taken behind the scenes in the IndyCar world through “Tech Talks" with top engineers, and conversations with KV driver Tony Kanaan, one of the series’ top pilots. With access to the pit and garage areas, our racing team partners got to see firsthand how their components and technology play an essential role in this high-performance sport.

Partnering with these companies was natural — whether you’re competing in an IndyCar race, or racing to deliver “what’s next" to your customers, it’s all about the need for speed. The high-tech world of IndyCar is the perfect test bed for some of these innovative products, as our mutual goal is to help get our customers to market as soon as possible.

The racing team had a great 2012 season, filled with excitement, anticipation, and some very close racing. Kanaan logged seven top-six finishes, including a podium finish at the historic Indianapolis 500. We’re already looking forward to next season.
