Asian Le Mans Series secures Daniel Poissenot as Race Director

The Asian Le Mans Series has confirmed Daniel Poissenot as its Race Director for its 2013 inaugural season. Poissenot was race Director of the legendary 24 Heures du Mans for 12 years, working for the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, creator and organizer of the event.

Poissenot's involvement in Le Mans dates back to 1988. He was responsible for the smooth running and track safety, then he became the race director of the last twelve editions of the 24 Heures du Mans. He has also been the ACO Deputy General Manager for 10 years in charge of the sport department. He was also Race Director of the first Asian Le Mans race in Okayama, Japan in 2009.
