NASCAR Nationwide Darlington TV Rating

ESPN2’s live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway on Friday night, May 11, earned a 1.2 household coverage rating (1.0 U.S. rating), averaging 1,590,786 viewers, according to the Nielsen Company.

The rating was up from last year’s Darlington race, which earned a 1.0 coverage rating.

NASCAR Nationwide Series ratings are up seven percent across ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC this season compared to last year at this point and up 23 percent over this point in 2010. Of the eight races run so far this season that aired on ESPN networks last year, six have shown ratings increases.
