McClure awake and alert

Eric McClure, driver of the No. 14 Hefty/Reynolds Wrap Toyota, is stable and alert following a late-race incident yesterday during the NASCAR Nationwide Series Aaron's 312 at Talladega Superspeedway.

He is undergoing tests and remains under observation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham hospital.

McClure and his family would like to express their thanks to the NASCAR community for their thoughts, support and concern. The team will release any updates as they occur.
