Barber offers discounts to early IndyCar race ticket buyers
Zoom Motorsports, which promotes races at Barber, is offering a 20 percent discount for anyone who buys tickets until Wednesday.
Tickets for the March 30 – April 1 race weekend for the IZOD IndyCar Series and Rolex Grand Am Series will be available starting at 11 a.m. by going online. Fans can immediately print out their tickets.
To receive the discount, however, fans have to "like" the Barber Motorsports Park fan page on Facebook or sign up for the Barber Motorsports Park email updates at www.barbermotorsports.com and receive a promo code to use when buying tickets online.
Starting Thursday, those who become Facebook fans or members of the Barber Motorsports Park email database will receive a 10 percent discount. Tickets will revert to full price starting Oct. 26.
Next year, on-site parking Friday and Saturday will be free. Premium on-site parking and preferred off-site parking for Sunday will be available for purchase. Free parking for Sunday will be in an off-site location with a shuttle transporting fans to the track.
Tickets start at $15. A three-day general admission ticket is $69 and a three-day paddock pass is $50.
