France Family chooses the king of raunchy radio

UPDATE A reader writes, Dear Ar1.com, He's successful in many Florida markets, including Tampa & Jacksonville. He recently purchased the Ocala Speedway and seems to be putting up healthy pots for the grassroots racing community. His son is pretty successful in quarter midgets, and he funds a second car for another youngster (or at least he used to). Is he the right person to be driving the pace car? I don't know, but to be fair, he's more than Tony Stewart's friend. He's more entrenched in the Florida racing scene than any celebrity driver. Will McCarty

06/17/11 For the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona the Frances could have picked a lot of people to drive the pace car for their "Family Friendly" big event. So who did they choose? The king of raunchy radio "Bubba the Love sponge". Not sure what their motivation is for that one. We do hear he is a close friend of Tony Stewart.
