TNT To Mic Up NASCAR Crew Chiefs During Sprint Cup Coverage

TNT today is expected to announce that it will "microphone some crew chiefs and their teams" during its NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage, which begins Sunday. The move is a "first for Turner Sports." Other coverage features will include Turner-managed NASCAR.com giving users access to "10 camera views not seen on TV during races – up from five last year – including shots of pit road as well as ones focused on head-to-head competitions between drivers." NASCAR.com on Friday will debut "30 Minutes You Will Never Get Back," a video chat series hosted by Kyle Petty USA TODAY.
