SCCA World Challenge unveils final two venues, completes 2011 sched

The 12-race schedule for the 2011 SCCA World Challenge series is now complete after the series on Tuesday announced the addition of events at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and at Road Atlanta.

The Laguna Seca event will be held Sept. 16-18. The season’s final race will be held at Road Atlanta, Sept. 28-Oct. 1.

— March 26-27: St. Petersburg, Fla. (two races)

— April 17: Long Beach, Calif. (one race)

— April 30: Miller Motorsports Park, Tooele, Utah (one race)

— May 21-22: Mosport International Raceway, Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada (two races)

— Aug. 6-7: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio (two races)

— Aug. 27-28: Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, Calif. (two races)

— Sept. 18: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Monterey, Calif. (one race)

— Sept. 30: Road Atlanta, Braselton, Ga. (one race)
