HRT to announce major sponsor

According to Hispania Racing team owner Jose Ramon Carabante the HRT team will soon announce a major sponsor. A company that is among the top five most important companies in Spain the Spaniard told Spanish radio station Radio Marca.

Speaking about the positive news for HRT Carabante said: “We will soon announce a major sponsor. Negotiation are well-advanced at the moment. It is one of the five most important companies in Spain," Carabante told Radio Marca.

HRT's aim for 2011 is clear: “we want to be a step ahead of this year. Our team is a long-term project and we will try to be a well established team in two or three years. That was the initial idea of our team."

Carabante furthermore revealed that the team is currently talking to 'five or six' possible candidates to race for the team in 2011.
