Red Bull and Buemi committed to each other

Sebastien Buemi is confident that the time will come when he makes the move from Toro Rosso to senior team, Red Bull Racing.

Buemi has a long-term contract with Red Bull, who opted to place the Swiss racer with their Toro Rosso team at the beginning of last year's Championship.

"We signed the contract a few years ago so now it's still continuing with Toro Rosso," he said in an interview released by the team.

"The team confirmed me for next year so I'm really happy to be part of the family and to continue working together with Toro Rosso for the 2011 season."

He has been linked to other teams with Renault rumored to have been interested in securing his services for next season. Buemi, though, says he's staying at Toro Rosso with an eye to racing for senior team Red Bull in the future.

"Obviously it's really good when some of the teams are looking for you because it means that they think you are good enough to fit in their team.

"So this is good; you are happy when you hear those kind of things.

"But Red Bull helped me so much in the past and is still helping me so I want to stay with them as long as I can.

"I want to be scoring points, I want to win races and Championships. This is I think pretty clear for most of the drivers.

"Now we've got to stay realistic, it's not really easy with what we have.

"But we work really hard and I'm confident in the future I'll be able to step in the Red Bull which is now the fastest car."
