New Indy 500 rewards program gives fans VIP benefits

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is honoring its most important VIP’s – loyal fans – through the Indy 500 Fan Rewards Program, which recognizes and rewards the passionate ticket customers of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing."

Starting in 2010, IMS is providing exciting, unique benefits and privileges to all ticket holders who reorder tickets for the 2011 Indianapolis 500, the 100th anniversary of the world’s most prestigious auto race.

The most loyal ticket customers will reap even more benefits for continuing to attend the Indianapolis 500 year after year.

“We’re proud to recognize our fans with this new program," said Jeff Belskus, president and chief executive officer of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corp. “Their dedication and colorful personal Race Day traditions are an essential part of a century of rich history of the Indianapolis 500. As the Indianapolis Motor Speedway launches into its next 100 years, there is no better time to recognize our great fans for their loyalty."

The Indy 500 Fan Rewards Program will include six levels that include rewards based on the number of years a fan has purchased tickets for the “500" and how many tickets they purchase each year. The levels: Club 33, Centennial Club, 500 Veterans Club, Indy Veterans of 25 Years, Indy Veterans of 10 Years and All Fan Access.

Awards and incentives include an original brick from the Speedway’s surface on a specially engraved mounted base, Race Day pit passes, VIP suite access, an invitation to the Victory Celebration that honors the Indianapolis 500 winner or the Snake Pit Ball, Bronze Badge access to Gasoline Alley, discounts on merchandise at the Brickyard Authentics Official Retail Shops of IMS, digital downloads from the incredible vault of images spanning more than 100 years of IMS history, and much more.
