Daly to CBS WISH TV8 for 22nd year

Former Indy car and Formula One driver, Derek Daly, will return to CBS WISH TV8, Indianapolis, as their motorsports analyst for the 22nd consecutive year. Daly will cover all action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, including, the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400 and the Red Bull Moto GP event, in addition to significant motorsports stories throughout the year.

“Over all these years Derek has contributed immensely to WISH TV8’s coverage of motor sports. He provides an unusual depth to our coverage and we are glad to continue the successful relationship" said Jeff White, WISH TV8, General Manager.

“There is a growing new motor sports buzz around our city this year – new hopes and renewed interest and WISH TV8 gives me the freedom to tell it like it is, whatever the story might be" said Daly.

WISH-TV channel 8 is the CBS affiliate in Indianapolis, Indiana. The station is owned by LIN TV. The Indianapolis location also serves as an operations hub for other LIN TV stations in the Midwest. WISH also offers a 24-hour weather service, LWS, to central Indiana cable systems, on its 2nd digital subchannel, on its website as live video, and on WIIH-CA.
