Summerton to test F2 car

American Jonathan Summerton will test an F2 car at Portimao, Portugal (Algarve) this coming Saturday.

Formula Two is running a winter test program in Spain and Portugal where drivers will also have the benefit of running on two circuits forming part of the 2010 FIA Formula Two Championship.

Tests will take place at the following venues/dates:

Valencia, Spain December 3-4
Portimão, Portugal December 11-12

The tests are open to any driver, subject to F2 approval. New drivers will receive a detailed briefing on the F2 cars and operating systems. All drivers will have full F2 support including F2 race engineers, data support, and on board cameras. Each driver will have three sets of tires per day, including two new sets. Drivers are welcome to bring any family, advisors and guests. Full F2 hospitality will be provided.
