Kyle Busch Wins 42nd Annual Snowball Derby

Kyle Busch showed up at a small local track and showed everyone how it is done, winning the 42nd Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Busch came from third starting position in the 300-lap annual race and took the lead late from 2005 Snowball Derby winner Eddie Mercer, along with a fat $22,500 winner's check. Mercer held on to finish second with NASCAR Nationwide Series regular Steven Wallace placing third. There is nothing more a driver can do to validate their "hype", than showing up on an off weekend, getting into a car you have never seen, on a track you don't know, and race against those who do it everyday, and taking it to them. $22,500 is a pretty decent payday for a weekend of fun while you are on vacation.
