Fans can still vote for most popular sports car driver

Out of more than 60 eligible American Le Mans Series drivers, nine remain in this year’s Most Popular Driver contest. The final voting is now open to fans around the world through Paddock Pass at americanlemans.com.

This final round of voting will remain open through midnight ET on Sunday, September 27 to coincide with the close of the 12th annual Petit Le Mans powered by MAZDA6 weekend, the cornerstone event for the American Le Mans Series.

Fans also can still vote in this year’s From the Fans poll, an award that goes to the person or group that has made the biggest impact this season in the American Le Mans Series or sports car racing. It will likewise remain open through midnight ET on Sunday.

The winners will receive their awards at the season-ending banquet in Monterey, Calif., on Sunday, October 11.
