penskeracing.com to feature unique Chase coverage

Penske Racing’s official web site, www.PenskeRacing.com, will feature in-depth coverage and a unique fan contest through the social networking web site, Twitter.com, over the next 10 weeks of NASCAR’s Chase for the Cup Series championship.

As Penske Racing returns to the Chase this fall with driver Kurt Busch and the No. 2 Miller Lite team, PenskeRacing.com will chronicle all of the excitement and give fans the opportunity to get closer to the action.

On Friday, the team’s web site launched its 2009 Chase coverage – featuring a unique and interactive graphical display on its home page that provides a complete statistical analysis of the 12 drivers participating in the Chase and a breakdown of the Miller Lite team’s performance throughout NASCAR’s 10-week “postseason."

In addition, enhanced news and information on the No. 2 team will be posted on the site, beginning with this weekend’s Chase opener, the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Chase coverage will also feature unique Penske Racing content through Twitter. Miller Lite is hosting a new Twitter page focused on the Chase – www.twitter.com/bluedeuce2win – that will include behind the scenes “tweets" from the No. 2 team. Fans can connect directly to this page from the PenskeRacing.com Chase area.

Penske Racing is also hosting a special contest through its Twitter page that will last throughout the Chase. Followers of www.twitter.com/penskeracing can participate by tweeting their guess as to where Busch will finish in that week’s race. Those that correctly guess Busch’s finishing position will be identified and up to 10 winners will be randomly selected to receive a free Penske Racing t-shirt from the Penske Racing online store. One grand prize winner will also be selected each week and they will receive an autographed No. 2 car diecast signed by Busch.
