Williams changes Friday practice tactics

(GMM) Williams has changed its approach to Friday practice at grands prix, Nico Rosberg revealed on Friday.

So often this season, the German has topped the time sheets early on at a race weekend, as he and teammate Kazuki Nakajima spend more time running low fuel and new tires than their rivals.

But at the Nurburgring, Rosberg's best effort was his morning seventh before dropping to thirteenth in the afternoon.

"We have changed the way we approach Friday practice, so we do not expect to be top of the time sheets," he said.
