Rain hits NJ track

Rain has begun falling at New Jersey Motorsports Park after the SPEED World Challenge GT race got underway forcing the drivers to pit for rain tires. Currently the Volvo team runs 1-2, Andy Pilgrim leading Randy Pobst. Next up is 15-minutes of qualifying for the Rolex Daytona Prototypes. The short time slot requires all cars to get out there and go for a fast time from the drop of the green flag. They have only got 15-minutes to lay down a fast lap, putting a premium on getting your tires up to temperature quickly. Mark C. reporting from South Jersey
