No Memorial Day double for Hornish

Don’t expect Sam Hornish Jr. to attempt the Indianapolis 500/Coca-Cola 600 double on Memorial Day weekend.

“I don’t think that there’s any possibility that that would happen with the way that the schedules are," Hornish said. “It’s something that I would love to do at some point in time, but I don’t think that it’s feasible to be able to run one and then make it in time for the other one."

“If they were to do it and Roger wanted me to do it, then I’m on board, but I’m not going to push my buttons or anything like that," Hornish said of running the 2009 Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. “I’m focused on driving stock cars. I haven’t really thought about that at all. If that’s something that came up, then I’m sure that it wouldn’t ever come up until May."
