Bonanomi replaces Yoong at Meritus

Marco Bonanomi will replacing former Formula One driver Alex Yoong at Meritus Racing in the GP2 Asia series.

"I'm glad to have found this opportunity, and to be back working with a great technician like (Gianfranco) Bielli at Al Sakhir," said Bonanomi.

"Since the GP2 Asia Series doesn't feature extensive practice sessions, I'll have to re-adapt to the car really quickly, though I see a strong team so I'm pretty confident."
