Double pole for Carlin at Oulton

The Carlin F3 team took pole position in both the International and National classes this morning, with Jaime Alguersuari and Andy Meyrick leading the six strong Carlin team. Taking part in the first qualifying session of the season at Oulton Park, Alguersuari and Oliver Turvey form a Carlin front row, with Red Bull driver Brendon Hartley lining up fifth for his first F3 race. Sam Abay will start 14th, with Meyrick leading the national class 16th overall. Team mate Kristjan Einar will line up 4th in the National Class and 22nd overall on his F3 debut.
