Brinkworth Models Prepares Limited Editions of 2007 Champ Cars

The Limited Edition 2007 models will be Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing’s championship #1 (Sebastien Bourdais) and #2 (Graham Rahal) cars; Walker Racing’s #5 (Will Power) and #15 (Simon Pagenaud) cars; PKV Racing’s #21 (Neel Jani) car; and Minardi Team USA’s #14 (Robert Doornbos).

The actual size of the models is 19 inches long by 8 inches wide. They are mounted on wood bases with aluminum trim, with a top surface of unpainted 2X2 twill 200gsm 3k Carbon Fiber. The actual piece of material was produced exclusively for Brinkworth Models in the Elan Motorsports factory where the full-size DP01 Champ Cars were built.

“These are high-end hand-built models, not die-cast," says Al Brinkworth, President & CEO of Brinkworth Models & Design Consultants. “Certainly these will be special collector’s items for Champ Car fans.
