Coulthard to make history in Saudi Arabia today

Before hitting the streets of Melbourne next week, Red Bull Racing star David Coulthard will make a short stop when he visits Saudi Arabia to take part in the first ever Formula One street demonstration.

The Scot will be appearing on a temporary racetrack in the parking lot at the Al Basateen Centre tonight when he will pilot his Red Bull racer down the road to the SAMBA building in front of thousands of excited fans.

From there he will make his way down under for the opening race of the 2008 Formula One season that will get underway with the official first practice session in one short week’s time.
