Unsers Indy return delayed

Two more drivers topped 220 mph at Indianapolis Motor Speedway late Monday, while A.J. Foyt Racing chose to put off two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser Jr.'s return to the track.

Unser, in his first time in a car since last year's 500, did not attempt to complete his refresher course Monday, the last day of rookie orientation before full-field practice begins Tuesday.

"Our cars were literally scary to drive last year," said Larry Foyt of A.J. Foyt Racing, who drove one of the cars last year. "We just want to make sure we have the cars where they need to be before we run. We don't want to take any chances." Indy Star
