Seen in Homestead

Champ Car drivers were out in force this weekend at Homestead looking for rides in the IRL and Grand-Am. We spotted Oriol Servia, Mario Dominguez and Nelson Philippe getting a LOT of interest from the IRL and Grand-Am paddock…interest from both fans and teams. We also spotted Jan Heylen sniffing around for a ride. With nothing cooking for them, as well as Bruno Junqueira, in Champ Car, they are forced to find work elsewhere. In NASCAR unemployed Cup drivers find rides in the Busch and Truck Series. Shame on Champ Car for not keeping them in the Atlantic Series as it would be another shot in the arm for that series and it would be a measure of how good the youngsters are.
