Risatti withdraws from GP2

Ricardo 'Caito' Risatti has withdrawn from the GP2 Series with BCN Competition due to lack of money. The Argentinean was set to make his GP2 debut this year after four seasons in Spanish Formula Three.

A team press release said, "Due to the failure of Caito Risatti in raising the total budget needed to participate in the 2007 GP2 Series, and because of the negative response of South American and European companies, his managers and the BCN team have decided as from today to stop any contractual negotiation."

He is looking for another series to drive in.
