Dodge dangles a carrot in front of drivers

Dodge officials have decided to up the ante to have one of the manufacturer's drivers win the Daytona 500. So if a driver in the manufacturer's fold wins the Feb. 18 season-opening NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Daytona International Speedway, he will get a bonus. "I want to make it a little bit more interesting, so for the Daytona 500, the Dodge driver that wins that race, I'm going to give him his choice of a brand new SRT vehicle," Mike Accavitti, director Dodge Motorsports operations and SRT planning, said Thursday.
