Paddock news from Shanghai: 2

(GMM) Honda has turned out in Shanghai with its now-traditional livery change for the Chinese grand prix.

Because Lucky Strike cigarettes are not widely promoted in the country, the team is showing off sponsor BAT's sister brand, 555, by adding an element of blue to the usually white and red car.

The mechanics and drivers are also wearing blue and yellow clothing and overalls, rather than their usual white.

Michael Schumacher has refused to respond to championship rival Fernando Alonso's recent claim that the retiring German is the most 'unsporting' driver in formula one history.

After drawing a blank in the official FIA press conference on Thursday, reporters – once again – asked the Ferrari driver in the Shanghai paddock if he had a reply.

''I don't like to comment on people's opinions,'' he said. ''Everyone is free to say what they want, but it does not mean that you always have to reply.''
