NASCAR signs deal with ESPN International

ESPN International will be the exclusive international sales agent for all US motor racing series NASCAR’s event programming.

The deal is part of ESPN’s recently signed eight-year contract for NASCAR rights in the USA, starting February 2007.

ESPN International will handle all television syndication rights outside of North America and help identify broadcast partnerships on a country-by-country basis. The rights include the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series, including live rights, qualifying and Happy Hour, from February until November.
